When should we think about our immunity system but now? During autumn and winter, colds and viral infections are rather common. This year, however, the situation is considerably worse. We stay at home, we have a lack of exercise and fresh air. How to boost our immunity system? We have 10 tips to help your body defend itself successfully.

  1. TRY NOT TO STRESS

We know it’s easy to say…and much harder to do. Especially now, in a time of fear and uncertainty. But perhaps now is the time to look more inward at yourself. Find 30 minutes for yourself every day, even just before going to bed. Think about what made you happy during your day, think about the good times you had, and find something to look forward to. Meditation can also help.

  1. TRY NEW THINGS

Write a book, paint a picture, write a song. Just try to do something you wouldn’t normally have the time or the courage to do. Feeling good about yourself definitely helps to relieve stress and helps you to enjoy your life.

  1. DETOX

Especially this autumn, you should not forget to get the vitamins from fruit and vegetables, but we recommend including multivitamins in tablets as well. In particular, including those that contain vitamin D, which contributes to the healthy function of our immunity system. The detox is also a great idea during autumn time. Everyone has heard of a spring detox, but the autumn one is sometimes forgotten. Yet autumn is the time to awaken the body’s energy and gather the strength for the upcoming winter. There are great detox tablets on the market to support your liver. There are also excellent detox herbal treatments to help you control your drinking regimen and to support the body’s functions.

  1. REGULARITY

Get your life in order. Get up at the same hour and try to go to bed on time in the evening. As many studies show, sleep deprivation literally has devastating effects on the body. Regular daily routine, in turn, will help you figure out how much time you should devote to your duties and how much time you should allow for yourself.

  1. SLEEP IS YOUR FRIEND

Sleep at least 8 hours a night and if you need to, even longer. Sleep regenerates our body and keeps it in shape. It also boosts the immune system, helps weight loss, and encourages the proper functioning of the brain.

  1. CHANGE YOUR DIET

Have a look in the mirror…isn’t it time to do something about the unwanted excess weight? There are online BMI calculators that will tell you whether everything is okay with your weight. Being overweight and obese has shown to make it more difficult to overcome viral infections. That’s why it’s imperative now, sooner than later, that you get rid of your fat pillows.

  1. SKIP SUGARS

They say that sugar is the “white killer” and the world’s number one drug. Try to avoid eating it for a while. On top of that, a keto diet is a great way to get rid of sugar for good and lose weight very easily. Have a look online and get inspired. If you want to go around it the easy way, go for the KetoMix diet. It has the best reviews on the market and more than 100,000 people have lost weight thanks to it.

  1. KEEP IN TOUCH

Even if we can’t meet each other now, maintain your social ties. Stay in touch with your friends, make phone calls and write to each other. Think of the ways you could challenge each other. Thanks to today’s technology you can, for instance, make a video and then share it. Online meet-ups are also great. Turn on the camera on your phone and “invite” all your friends over for a drink.

  1. EXERCISE

Don’t worry, we won’t force you into an Olympic performance. Try, however, to at least stretch every day. There’s a lot of online lessons and exercise videos. If you can, go for a walk in nature, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the little things.

  1. STAY SAFE

When you go out in the cold, make sure to dress warmly. In general, think about taking care of yourself a little differently now. When you leave home, don’t forget to wear your mask, gloves, and disinfectant. Try to keep your distance and do everything you can to avoid getting sick. We keep our fingers crossed for you!
